“It Might Be You” is about a guy who meets the girl he was destined to be with. Scott Cruz lives a comfortable life with a loving family, a few good friends, and a film making hobby that he’s passionate about, despite the many people at school who don’t think highly of him. But there is something missing in his life. A look back at old high school English class journals ask the question about love and finding the one person who defines what true love truly is. On the very same day, Scott bumps into a girl who might be the answer to that question.
Claire Hodges is a well respected theatre student and a talented aspiring actress who has a lot going for her. Although having a father who is MIA and dealing with an ever worrying mother on a regular basis, she tries to live life with a positive attitude. After meeting Scott, Claire finds the balance in her life that she is looking for.
Highly influenced by South Korean romance movies, “It Might Be You” is an attempt to capture the same sensibility and storytelling into an American, Southern Californian culture. Filled with references and some action (I’m not going to say how), there is plenty to offer in this movie for fanboys and chick flick enthusiat alike.
Starring:
- Fernando Jay Huerto
- Torrie Gekas
- CJ Keith
- John Alspaugh
- Gracie Lee Brown
“It Might Be You” is Jay’s first foray into the Romance genre. Well known the world over on the internet for his brand of action and comedy based short films, this movie will be a unique challenge for him as an actor and director. The music video - The band is: AbitA Produced by Lucky 8 Entertainment. Director Aaron
Director Arron Christopher’s and the band were asked what was the vision behind this production. “We wanted the angst in the song to be represented by the desaturated video and only when something is broken/smashed/burned does the color relieve it, but only for a moment.” AbitA has just released their first studio album. George Lynch (of Lynch Mob, Et. Al.) played on one of their tracks. The band and I are currently in talks for their next music video off of their new album.
Aaron has over 5 years in the film and TV industry. He’s recently branched out from his production office background to direct and edit various music video & documentary projects. He is currently editing an internet comedy series that he directed. Aaron has also just finished up an intensive six week writing class with Christopher Lockheart, Executive Story Editor for William Morris and is working on his third spec script.
